themonkeybananaking:

Can I just say how much I love the picture Hayley Podschun just posted on her Fan Page on Facebook! [x]

Seeing them both soon!

Does anyone else think that it’s crap that the 10th Anniversary Special Edition version of the Wicked cast album is just the 5th Anniversary CD with one more song and some new packaging.

1. First exposure to Wicked

First post of my 30 day challenge though I probably won’t limit myself to only one a day.  OK, first exposure.  My first exposure to Wicked was when I was 13 years old and I was just getting into Musical Theatre, and I got a CD from my local library called “Broadway: The American Musical” and one of the final tracks was Defying Gravity.  That was the first time I had ever heard it and I was just blown away!  I rewound that track about ten times that first night, and then went online to Wikipedia and read what the show was about and knew I had to get the full CD (I had loved the Wizard of Oz as a kid).  So I saved up and went to BestBuy and got the OBC recording (the 5th Anniversary cast album had just come out, but I didn’t have the money for it).  And then I listened to the CD about a billion times, and then I read the book, and watched a bootleg, and made all my friends do the same.  And it exploded from there!
